Dee-dee

Dee-dee is an American (U.S.) English language copy editor based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is originally from Miami, Florida in the United States. Dee-dee has a Masters in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University and is experienced in literature review research and academic writing. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

Previously, Dee-dee researched and wrote course content for an online graduate certificate program at the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry.  For this, she designed and wrote a new course for the program and in collaboration with the library, a student guide on how to use APA formatting. She has also done literature review research for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida and contributed to their reproductive health blog,The Feronia Project. Dee-dee has also written educational materials and activities for an employee wellness program and an eating disorder prevention program for college students.

Dee-dee enjoys fitness, art, and the outdoors.
